Meghalaya, meaning “Abode of Clouds,” is a picturesque state in northeastern India, celebrated for its lush landscapes, rich biodiversity, and vibrant cultural heritage. Known for its high rainfall, Meghalaya houses some of the wettest places on Earth, including Mawsynram and Cherrapunji.
